SUBMIT THE APPLICATION
New customers submit their loan applications online through Lyon Financial.
APPLICATION REVIEW
Lyon Financial reviews the application and alerts the customer once a conditional approval is obtained from the lender.
FINAL APPROVAL & LOAN DOCUMENTS
Once the customer is fully approved, the home improvement contract is received, and final financing numbers are confirmed, Lyon Financial issues the legal loan documents for signature.
CLEAR TO START CONSTRUCTION
After the customer signs the legal loan documents, Lyon Financial sends a “Clear to Start Construction” email to both the customer and contractor. This is the official notice that construction may begin.
Document the Work.<br>Release the Funds.
<span style=”font-size:15px;”>To release each stage payment, Lyon Financial requires a current, up-to-date photo showing that the specific stage has been completed.</span>
<span style=”font-size:15px;”>Some lenders may also require a signed Stage Release Form. When required, the form is sent to the customer through DocuSign and must be completed before payment can be processed.</span>
Send the Right<br>Information the First Time.
<span style=”font-size:15px;”>To submit photos for payment, email Lyon Financial Support. Include the customer’s full name and property address with the current project photo to help ensure timely processing.</span>
CURRENT PHOTO
Use a current, up-to-date image showing the completed stage.
CUSTOMER NAME
Include the customer’s full name in the email.
PROJECT ADDRESS
Include the property address for accurate processing.

COMPLETION CERTIFICATE
Completion Certificate is required when applicable.
